Sure itís not the best thing in the world, but holy shit you jealous comment whores need to lay the fuck off and go attack some of the lame ass furry shit that makes top favs. Dude its true you have made better, but who cares. Itís rather obvious that those who disliked it were rather jealous and felt youíre responsible for their lack of recognition; I think itís sad that they canít find a better way to let their jealousy out.
It's actually a great concept and idea, but there are some flaws in my opinion.
- Big sharp line in the left bottom, if rendered with an invisible background this wouldn't be a problem
- The render is nice, but should have had more detail for this idea.
- The render is jaggie on some parts.
- The center things shouldn't have been see through, but solid, with airbrushing on it, not under.
- The brushing looks really simple made, like its just a bunch of white stuff with a twirl over it.
- The blue is too much blue, and a bit overused blue, more to grey would have been better imo.
This is just my opinion though, it got many comments and fav's, so be proud of it, but with more time put into it, it would have been much better in my opinion
Sorry for the Dislike Deviation, but here are my reasons why
There are layer edges left unerased and visible everywhere. I have no idea how you could've missed this while you were working on it.
Some weird ugly color tint is visble throughout.
The white effects look awful, and provide no light occlusions. In other words, the lighting of the white is too localized, and not graduated enough throughout the whole and effecting other parts. Other than that, the white portion just doesn't look too good.
The models, while nice, are too scattered and random and do not flow with eachother well.... the spatial placement of them creates too much negative space.
Too much shadows.
The background is flat, drab, and offers no sense of spatial depth.
The overall piece lacks color contrast. Seems like you stacked layer copies and used the Multiply blending mode. It's just not working here.
The detail is hindered due to the lack of contrast, and overall its blurry.
I think this was created out of haste. More ample time should've been spent correcting obvious flaws. I am very displeased this made the daily top favorites, and I hope the comments here and above from others don't anger you, but to help make you better. Keep working and trying.
The main reason that is somewhat is that at some places the Pixels are clearly visible it's not bad at first glimps but later on things like that can be irritating sorry but overall a great achievement
I really like the colors and the render, shading. I love this picture. Typo is... OK, 'coz it doesn't mean much to me. Detail is cool also.
But... the edges of some of the objects don't look good... maybe some anti-aliasing or bluring would help. But it gets a +fav and download nevertheless.
It's ok, but what kills it for me is the fact that you appear to have one of your renders in something like Soft Light mode in Photoshop, and then done nothing about the black matte edges of that layer, so you get this line right across the lower right of the image. If you render something like this with alpha, that all ceases to be a problem. Also, the white text would have looked so much better if you'd worked it into the object behind it, rather than just laying it over the top with a slight skew on it. Also, I don't if this was deliberate or not (nobody gives a shit about spelling any more), but you spell it 'centrifugal'. Still, keep on trucking dude, nobody ever got better by have nothing but meaningless praised heaped on 'em
I like the mechanical parts a lot, but the center was jaggy and too "plonked", plus there is a layer mistake resulting in that line there. Some parts of the picture lack quality. If you could fix those, im it would be great. Nice concept.
Ok here is a few tips
1. About blurry if your used 3d Studio max, Use Catmull-rom with supersampling. (Anti Alias - Crisper, better, slower)
2. Lighting could have been a bit better placed and it feels like its been photoshoped - Bleh (Sorry to all those photoshop guys, I am a bit of a purist when it comes to lighting effects)
"I reached my 5,000th today and i got DTF thanks guys thanks so much ecspecially the 45 people watching me"
For one thing, your views mean nothing and the amount of people watching you mean nothing, and this doesnt deserve the recognition it is recieving. Even if it did, DTF tells you nothing but that a few people who have no idea what they are talking about like it.
Learn to value the opinions that matter. With this said, my critique goes as follows:
-The lighting is terrible considering its pretty much overlapped on the image and is primarily focused on a particular spot of the image when light should be reflected in many areas.
-Things are extremly blurry
-You have a hard edge going straight across ur image on the bottom.
-Your background gives no depth
-Your image is completly cluttered and gives oppposite directions of flow (if ur purpose was intented to the direction of the center)
-If you compare your 'version 1' to this one, anyone can easily see that you basically flopped that layer and its outline on to this. Pretty sad.
-And finally, the image is very bland and has absolutely no detail or work that i can see of.
nice but the middle just does not do it for me. And I don't think the text on the right fits well in the image. And the mechanical arms or whatever they are hella ko0 but seem to dark for me. A little more improvement on this and it would be great. Keep up the good work
